Christmas - Holiday Open House, here at the pottery
Sunday, November 29th from 12 noon to 5.
Lots of new things!
We are in the glaze room finishing up the 3rd of 3 burns getting ready for the Holiday Show! We are once again running a couple of months or more behind schedule on completing orders so thanks in advance for your patience to those who are waiting on pieces.
*** We are no longer taking orders for personalized pieces (names, etc) for Christmas ***
We will still take orders for things we currently have in green or bisque ware but please call ASAP so I can be sure to get it finished for you as we will only have 3 more glaze kilns before Christmas. We do have a good selection of all kinds of work ready to be glazed.
The last day shipping for Christmas will be Wednesday December 16.
We are encouraging all who are interested in being notified of upcoming events and invitation only events to please sign up on our E-Mail list, "Join our Mailing List" sign-up link at the bottom of this page.
I send out e-mail messages 4 - 5 times a year.
We would like to welcome Susan G. to the pottery . Susan is our packing and logistics person as well as working the desk, dusting, vacuuming the showroom. She greets you with a smile and will help select if you need suggestions.
Thanks again to My Decorator, Ms Carol for coming out and updating our displays.
We are excited about starting work on our new sprung arch kiln. I have gotten friend, fellow potter and kiln builder John Rezner to build the structure for me. All the IFB brick have been delivered, steel braces are on their way and we hope to start construction about the 9th of November.
While touring around Fairhope stop in at the Fairhope Information Center & pick up some brochures of fun and interesting things to do while in our area. Then travel next door to the Fairhope Museum on Section Street. Donnie and his staff are always available to answer your questions and have ever changing displays. A great & enjoyable place to visit during those beautiful bright cool autumn walk abouts thru Fairhope.
Visiting our area for a few days? May I suggest "Bay Breeze"Bed and Breakfast on Mobile Bay. What a lovely setting and really gracious hosts. To contact them call (866) 928-8976.
If you are looking for that traditional barber shop I suggest "Dallas Jones Barber Shop" on Section Street in Fairhope. Tell Dallas or Josh that Dallas' Dad sent you in.
I hope you enjoy browsing our website. Be sure to print a map from the
"Visit Us" page.
